ORCA is a historic Beurt Motorschip Dutch Barge, built in 1904 by De Groot in Delft. Like many of her kind, Orca was used to transport goods along the intricate network of Dutch canals and rivers, specifically carrying clay for the Delft potteries. In 2010, she was decommissioned from commercial service and thoughtfully converted by Sunburst Boat Fitters in South Devon. Accommodation includes a generously sized aft en-suite cabin with double bed, ample storage and a bathroom with cassette wc, washbasin, heated towel rail and shower over bath. A spacious collapsible wheelhouse provides an excellent vantage point for navigation and manoeuvring, offering panoramic views of the waterways. Steps lead down to an open plan forward cabin featuring a galley/dinette area and saloon. At the heart of the galley is a Rayburn stove, providing warmth and versatile cooking options, adding both charm and functionality to the space. The galley is also equipped with a gas cooker and hob, a Belfast sink and a fridge. Two large dog boxes allow ample natural light to flood in. If you are looking for a resplendent home that combines heritage and functionality, Orca could be the perfect choice for you.
