G&J Reeves and Black Prince are two well-known and respected names in the inland waterways industry. Ex-hire boats are always in high demand and Mariana, at 58ft 10in offers spacious accommodation ideal for liveaboard use. Instead of the typical bed arrangement at the aft, there is a practical built-in four seater bench seat, which could serve as an excellent office area. She is powered by a robust Isuzu 42hp engine, with fitted Aquadrive coupling to further reduce noise and vibration. Heating is provided by a compact diesel boiler, complemented by a solid fuel stove and hot water is heated by both the engine and the boiler. 230V power when cruising is provided by a 1.8kW inverter with the batteries trickle charged by a 200W solar panel. Mariana has been privately owned since 2019 when she underwent a survey which highlighted active corrosion pitting. The hull was grit blasted and 2 pack epoxy coated, and a recent survey in July 2024 confirmed that there had been no significant change since the corrosion was addressed in 2019. A copy of this survey is available to read in the ABNB office.
