JL Pinder s boat building legacy dates back to the early days of leisure boating. As a family-owned business, now in the hands of the second generation, they have earned a solid reputation for crafting attractive, robust vessels - and Otaki is no exception. Built in 1998, her first owner spent two years completing the project before launching her in 2000. Otaki is an excellent choice for those looking to explore the UK canal network, with ample potential for upgrades and customisation over time. The current owners, who have thoroughly documented their enhancements over the past three years, are leaving behind an extensive onboard inventory. Designed to accommodate four, the boat features a permanent double at the aft and a make-up double on the L-shape dinette. Central heating is by Eberspacher diesel boiler while hot water is heated by engine, boiler or immersion. An 800W solar array with MPPT controller ensures the batteries stay charged. Named after a town in New Zealand's North Island, Otaki will see her owners return there after three enjoyable summers cruising the UK canals.
