Alexandra No 4 is a traditional narrowboat fitted out in rich sapele hardwood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows and three side doors bring in plenty of natural light, enhancing the cosy feel. The aft cabin features a permanent double bed accompanied by a classic Boatmans range, adding a touch of traditional style. The galley includes a gas cooker, fridge, and generous storage space. Comfort is assured with diesel central heating, while the bathroom features a shower and pump-out toilet. Dining is comfortable thanks to the Pullman dinette, offering both a place to eat and additional sleeping space if needed. Propulsion is by a robust Lister tug diesel engine (comparable to the Beta BD3) in its own dedicated room, complete with an engine-driven generator, providing 230V power along with a landline. Batteries are charged by a 40A charger, with trickle charging from a solar panel on the roof. The hull has been media blasted and treated with a durable 2-pack epoxy coating, ensuring lasting protection.
