Sandhills Narrowboats were renowned for their craftsmanship, producing boats with custom built furniture and distinctive raised and fielded panels. Fair Fa' was constructed with durable Sapelle ply and has served as a reliable liveaboard with one owner from new. The boat comfortably accommodates four, with ample storage throughout. The forward saloon offers space for freestanding seating, while two raised single Pullman dinettes can convert into a double bed or serve as bench seats. The galley includes an eye-level gas oven and grill, hob, fridge and washing machine. A walkthrough shower room with privacy door allows the pump out toilet to function within its own compartment. The crossbed double transforms into a bench seat by day, while a useful aft cabin provides additional space with a washbasin and a diesel stove connected to a back boiler for heating. A solid fuel stove in the saloon provides extra warmth at the fore. Propelled by a Nanni 43hp diesel engine with a hydraulic bow thruster, Fair Fa is equipped for smooth manoeuvring. Power is supported by a landline, a 2kW inverter, solar panels (3 x 80W), an MPPT controller, and a Mastervolt charger.
