Union Maid is a beautifully crafted narrowboat, fabricated by Cuttwater Boats to replicate the classic Northwich style motor boat with an exceptional interior fit-out by Steve Ellis. She is fitted with all the home comforts needed for a liveaboard. Double glazing ensures excellent insulation, while heating is provided by a Webasto diesel boiler and a solid fuel stove. Hot water is supplied via two calorifiers, heated by the engine, boiler, or immersion. When cruising, 230V power is available through a 3kW inverter, with three solar panels helping to keep the batteries topped up. The full width shower room features a stylish washbasin set on a granite worktop and a pump-out WC. The galley offers ample granite worktop space and there is a washing machine onboard for your convenience. Throughout the boat, high-quality carpentry and attention to detail are evident. Powered by a Canaline 52hp diesel engine with just 426 hours, aided by a 12V bow thruster, there is plenty of power for cruising on both canals and rivers. This level of craftsmanship and quality is rarely available and she is a must-see for anyone seeking a well built, beautifully finished narrowboat.
